Ladies and Gentlemen,
the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Centre for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences awarded in 2010 for the third time a scientific award for outstanding doctoral dissertations and master's, diploma or master's work in the field of humanities and social sciences to Polish history and culture and the German-Polish relations. The award is to encourage young scientists and the study of Poland and Polish-German issues.
CONDITIONS
can be submitted above average work done in the period 16 September 2009 to 15 September 2010 at the universities of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia have been graded. entitled to submit both the authors and writers as well as the initial reviewers and first supervisor. The winners are chosen by an international jury. The awards ceremony takes place on 7 December 2010 at the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena.
PRICES
Award for the best dissertation: 2.000, - €
Award for the best thesis: 1.000, - Euro

Please submit your application or your proposal with one copy of the paper in print and digital form and a copy of the report or an expert opinion and a short CV to the Centre for Historical Research, Berlin, Polish Academy of Sciences, keyword "Award 2010" Majakowskiring 47, 13156 Berlin one.
